When God Speaks, Nations Answer: The Midnight Glory at Nkana Stadium

Prophet Uebert Angel fills Nkana Stadium to Beyond Capacity on Saturday 9 August, 2025

Zambia will never forget what happened in Kitwe at Nkana Stadium. It wasn’t just a conference. It wasn’t just another religious gathering. It was living proof that when God speaks, nations respond with a hunger that cannot be silenced.

From as early as 8 a.m., believers began arriving at the gates for a conference scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Ten hours early, they stood in the blazing sun, waiting — not for entertainment, but for the voice of God. By noon, thousands had already filled the terraces and the pitch, carrying food, water, and blankets, prepared to wait all day for an encounter with the prophetic.

The official seating capacity of Nkana Stadium ranges between 10,000 and 15,000. Yet this night shattered those limits. The Stadium’s pitch disappeared under a sea of people, and still the crowds pressed in. Some estimates placed attendance at 200,000, while others claimed it soared to over 700,000. Whether hundreds of thousands or beyond — one truth remained: there was no room to move, no aisle left clear, no corner of Kitwe untouched by this gathering.

Even Prophet Uebert Angel himself found it nearly impossible to move through the crowd, despite being shielded by his protocol team. The aisles narrowed and finally closed completely as multitudes pressed forward, determined not to be left outside. This was no casual meeting. This was desperation for God.

And when the conference finally began, the hunger only deepened. The man of God declared his timeless phrase:

“Man lie, woman lie, but numbers don’t lie.”

The numbers were undeniable — a nation on its knees, a people gathered for the Word of the Lord.

But what truly marked the night was not just the beginning. It was the end. Or rather, the fact that even when the event ended after midnight, people did not disperse as though satisfied. They remained thirsty, still yearning for more, still caught in the atmosphere of expectation. Midnight usually signals fatigue, but on this night, it signaled revival.

The conference closed with a prophetic announcement — the next Shiloh Conference, already being prepared. The sound of cheers that followed showed a truth as old as scripture itself: when God visits His people, no distance is too far, no wait too long, and no hour too late.

Kitwe has been marked forever. And for those who were there, the testimony is clear — God is still speaking in our generation, and nations are still answering His call.
