During Prophet Uebert Angel’s Sunday service titled ,”Total Experience Sunday” Prophet Angel made a thought-provoking statement “there is no such thing called a Pentecostal church.” His remarks have sparked conversations across Christian circles challenging people’s identity in the body of Christ.

The founder of Spirit Embassy ( The GoodNews Church ) emphasized that although “Pentecostalism” is characterized by speaking in tongues, prophecy, miracles , it does not mean that it is a denomination in itself. It merely is an experience of the Holy Ghost. It is not the name/identity of any church. Prophet Angel explained that the day of Pentecost ( Acts 2:38) were the Holy Ghost descended on the people enabling them to speak in tongues was an event that took place.
“There is no Pentecostal church in the bible, there is no building or denomination that Jesus ever called Pentecostal. It’s an experience, an encounter with the Holy Spirit, just like what happened at Pentecost. But people made it a label – Prophet Uebert Angel”
Many Christians all over the world praised Prophet Angel for opening their eyes to the revelation of ‘Pentecostalism’ stating that it helped them rethink the way they view Christianity. Prophet Angel refuses to indetify his church as a pentecostal church, rather a ministry that centers itself on purely the Word of God and its principles that is from excessive labelling.
